  • Protector for Smartphone screen

Our recommendation for smartphone screen protection is a clear plastic photo stand. However, even stacked cardboard is much better than nothing when it comes to shielding your screen from BB pellets.

  • Smartphone Tripod or Stand

  • Airsoft Gun

    • Airsoft gun (Recommended: BB energy under 1.0J, e.g., up to 300 feet/sec or 90m/sec with 0.20g BBs)

    • Use bright colored BB pellets, as dark ones won't be recognized

Setting up Your Smartphone and Target

  • Position your smartphone at a 30- to 45-degree angle in front of the target and secure it at least 20 inches (50 cm) from the target. Ensure the target is evenly lit and there are no reflections on the target surface.

FOR YOUR SMARTPHONE SAFETY:

  • Keep your smartphone safely away from the firing line of the airsoft gun.
  • Ensure to protect your smartphone screen from BB pellets, which can cause damage.

Opening AIRSOFT SPOTTER App

  • This app requires camera permission.

  • Center the target image in the camera's viewfinder and adjust the zoom slider to fill the viewfinder with the target image.

  • Once the app detects the target, a green frame and a cross line will appear in the viewfinder, and your smartphone's light will turn on, indicating that you're ready for practice shooting. WARNING: Do NOT shoot the smartphone!
